Financial Event w/ Edward Jones
Thank you to everyone who participated in our financial event at Brix Wine Cafe yesterday, where Financial advisor Sebastian Holmqvist from Edward Jones held a compelling and inspiring presentation about investing in current market conditions and trends. Edward Jones recently joined SACC-Seattle as a Business Member, and we are thrilled to welcome them on board!
Next week is our Annual European Business Mingle - don't forget to sign up!
Congratulations Norway!
Congratulations to Norway for defending the prestigious winning title in this year's Putt-Putt Golf Tournament. Team Sweden showed up with a solid team of players but it was not enough to beat the strong Norwegians. Thank you to everyone that came out and played and thank you NACC-Seattle for hosting a great event! We are looking forward to a rematch next year.
Young Professionals Happy Hour
Thank you to everyone that came to our first Young Professionals event at Optimism Brewing Company on Wednesday May, 22. It was such a pleasure to meet you all! Great thoughts were shared and connection made. We are already looking forward to the next one.
Team Sweden Meeting
Last Friday SACC-Seattle had the pleasure to attend a great Team Sweden meeting hosted by the Swedish Consulate in Seattle at it's new location in Redmond.
We were accompanied by Cecilia Lif from the Swedish Embassy, Johan Marcus from SACC-USA and new Honorary Swedish Consul Petra Hilleberg. If you have ideas on what you would like to see from the consulate, SACC-Seattle or other thoughts you would like to share on the Team Sweden concept of collaboration, please let us know at info@sacc-seattle.org.
Small Business Entrepreneur Event with panel speakers
On April 10th we hosted a great panel discussion focused on Entrepreneurship and Small Businesses in the Pacific Northwest. Thank you to all of our guests and our inspiring panelists Kristiina Hiukka, Martin Lundgren and Monica Langfeldt for sharing your experiences and take-aways as Nordic business owners. Special thanks to our moderator Petra Hilleberg and to the Swedish Club.
