Recap: Annual Meeting at Cutter & Buck
More than 25 members and guests attended our annual meeting, sponsored by Cutter & Buck at their new headquarters in downtown Seattle February 25th.
Joel Freet, CEO of Cutter & Buck told us about the history and growth of the company, which is a part of the Gothenburg-based New Wave Group. They also generously provided refreshments for everyone to enjoy during the evening.
Petra Hilleberg led the Annual Meeting and provided an overview of a successful 2015 and our plans for 2016. The board and members thanked Lena Powers for her nine years on the board, who decided not to stand for re-election and was thanked for all her hard work she put in to the Chamber and its events. Petra also announced that she would remain on the Board but would step down as SACC-Seattle president due to her increased work commitments as the newly appointed CEO of Hilleberg the Tentmaker. Members elected the following directors (list alphabetically). At a Board meeting immediately afterwards, directors appointed the following officers: Robert Quaak – President, Kirk Brewer – Vice President and Event Director, Petra Hilleberg – Immediate past President, Tine Bergman – Secretary, Tor Jernudd – Member at large, Martin Lundgren – Treasurer, Jakob Sjöberg – Business Development Director.
The board and members thanked Lena Powers for her eight years on the board, and for all the hard work she put in to the Chamber and its events.
