Growing up in a small town in central Sweden, Rebecka decided early on that she wanted to live and work internationally. This was a key driver for moving to Singapore to study at age 22. She hiked around Southeast Asia on school breaks and worked in various Asian countries before moving to Seattle. She is an avid traveler, who loves visiting new places and experiencing new cultures – especially food cultures! She is a certified PADI Dive Master and former Open Water Scuba Instructor, so many of her travels include diving and getting up close and personal with sharks. In Seattle she does a lot of skiing, long-distance running and biking. In 2016, she qualified for Team USA, for the 2017 World Championships in Duathlon.
