Our annual Glögg & Meatball Event

Come and celebrate the holidays with SACC-Seattle by savoring Swedish meatballs and warm up with traditional Swedish glögg from Sjöblom Winery, the day before St. Lucia Day, Wednesday December 12th between 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm.
Glögg & Meatball is one of our biggest event of the year where we celebrate the year that passed and the upcoming holidays. The SWEA women’s choir will perform Christmas songs and Lucia herself will visit us. Come and join us at the Swedish Consulate’s beautiful setting next to Lake Washington in Kirkland for a joyful night of Swedish traditions.
This year we have the honor to serve traditional Swedish glögg made by Michael Sjöblom at Sjöblom Winery in Napa Valley, CA. The wine picked for Sjöblom glögg is a 2016 Vintage Syrah and the spices are carefully chosen in Sweden, blended in Skåne and imported to the United States for the Sjöblom glögg production.
